Visit Fuerteventura Island

The Corralejo Dunes

Corralejo is one of the most popular holiday resorts in Fuerteventura and can be found at the northern tip of the island. Just outside lies the famous Corralejo Natural Park. It boasts enormous, 11km long dunes which are bathed by the pristine waters of the Atlantic Ocean.

El Cotillo and La Concha beach

El Cotillo owes some of its popularity to La Concha beach, which seems like a tropical paradise. The same road that leads to La Concha beach also takes you to the El Cotillo Lighthouse. The lighthouse was built in 1897 and nowadays you´ll find a charming little museum just next to it.

Betancuria

Fuerteventura´s former "capital" town, Betancuria, lies in a deep valley next to an old, dried-up riverbed. A Frenchman named Jean de Béthencourt founded this town in 1405.

Best Places to Go Surfing

    Los Patos and El Ancón

Do you want to go wild camping and surf in total quietness, surrounded by stunning nature? Grab a tent and ask for Los Patos and El Ancón. It is about one hour hike from Puerto de la Cruz.

    La Fitenia

You can go surfing regardless of the tide condition. This spot is popular and can get crowded sometimes. However, its proximity to other similar incredible spots, such as La Izquierda and Billboards, makes it worth going there anyways.
